About Bude Tandoori
A Bangladeshi and Indian restaurant and takeaway on Burn View, serving Bude since 2009.
We cook Bangladeshi and Indian food, in that order, and we have done from this address since 2009. The dining room is fully licensed. The kitchen runs a tandoor, and everything is cooked to order rather than held.
Some of what we cook is Bangladeshi rather than Indian. Shatkora goes into the chicken and the lamb, and our menu calls it a vegetable used only in Bangladeshi cooking. The naga chilli behind the Bengal Naga section comes from the Sylhet district of Bangladesh, and you choose your own strength when you order it. Kursi Lamb is a whole leg of lamb, roasted and brought to the table for four people. That one wants a day’s notice.
The dining room
We are fully licensed. There is a bar, and beer, wine and spirits are served at the table. There are highchairs if you need one.
The kitchen cooks to order, so at busy times there is a wait. Times we give you are always an estimation.
Dining in is cash only too. We cannot take cards or cheques for that either.

What we’re working on
Our old website had prices on it that had not been touched since 2019, and a menu you could not read on a phone. Both are fixed. The prices on this site come from the kitchen’s own list and are checked.
We are also writing down the allergens for every dish with the chef, so you can filter the menu by what you need to avoid rather than reading fourteen ingredients yourself.
